Preaching and Teaching the Word of God: Rev. Karim has been preaching the Word of God and teaching “Islam in the Light of the Cross” Seminar in many different Lutheran congregations. This Seminar helped him realize that we have a lot to learn about our Muslim neighbors “ …and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me”. Matthew 10:38
Rev. Karim also works in the mission field reaching, teaching, and connecting Muslims to the Cross of Christ. He shares the Gospel with many Muslims, watching how our loving God in His Son Jesus and through the power of His Word and the Holy Spirit transforms Muslims from slaves of Allah into Children of God has been the best part in his journey of Faith.
As Christians, we believe that salvation is the work of God alone (Eph 2:8), because of His grace alone, and thru Jesus death and resurrection alone. But, there is another blessing besides the gift of faith, which is the gift of going and making disciples of the Cross from all Nations. Oh what a privilege this is! Therefore like the apostle Paul, “I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes…. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
We hold out “the Word of life” because it is for all. We build relationships and are ready to speak the hope that is within us. We answer questions and use every opportunity to share what we have seen and heard.
It is our hope that through this opportunity you will be able to gain a richer understanding of Christianity in the Light of the Cross and how crushing religion of the glory will bring victory and that faith in Christ may arise.
Our Vision is God`s Mission for the Church on earth as it is in heaven: Revelation 7:9 After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.
There is not a day that passes by with Islam not affecting the world in one way or another. Our culture is changing, right here, right now. Muslims are in our churches, schools, grocery stores, post office, shopping malls; opportunities are every-where to reach out and befriend these new neighbors. The time is now, to learn and grow, be ready for that opportunity, when you least expect to share your faith. Acts 17:26-
